Located on Queen Street West, the SPCA Op Shop Hastings serves as a key point of interest for those looking to support animal welfare through their purchases. While customer feedback varies, the store remains a notable establishment in Hastings, offering a range of items where proceeds help the local animal community. It’s a place where shoppers can contribute to a meaningful cause while browsing a diverse selection.

a year agoThis is the most overpriced op shop, I keep going back hoping that they’ve fixed their pricing but it’s just ridiculous. It isn’t one or two items that are overpriced, the entire store is priced that way. Kids clothes that are more expensive than they were new etc. I suspect they look at eBay listings (not sold listings) to price their toys and games which don’t reflect realistic value. Because of this, their stock rarely moves and you see the same things every visit. I suspect if they halved their asking prices they would move a lot more product and actually make money for the charity.

a year agoVery over-priced. Can't take many donations because they cant sell what they have. Would be a better idea to have reasonable second hand prices so more things sell and more people will shop there - more money for the animals.

2 years agoShocked by the pricing of this opshop. One skirt my daughter looked at was $28 The toys are hugely overpriced. Most items you can get at Kmart for cheaper. Opshops back in the day were to help people out not to rip people off. Sickening.

2 years agoHave totally changed my opinion of this shop! I truely used to like shopping here but now... Ridiculously over priced for second hand items & Quality isn't great. Salvation Army & Cranford are much better! Will no longer support this "Charity" shop!

a year agogood variety of some stock and some good qaulity items but ridiculous prices selling pants brand new with tags for 30$ and the tag says 30. not much of a “opportunity” shop
