Salvation Army Family Store

the lady that has an accent was so so rude to me i will never go back. everything is so overpriced now its ridiculous. you could buy something better online for cheaper. i was sold broken items and didnt realise til i went to use them. i strongly suggest going elsewhere!!!! wanganui east has a great op shop edit: she also over-charged me. i remember the price of each so il will be making a point to get the my money back and taking in the broken items for refund thats so bad, this shop is ment to help people. not rip them off and sell them broken items also i was told that a bag i looked at & noticed had a broken zip that i handed in and told her the zip was broken, much to her disgust... she put it back out for sale the next day, with the broken zip unfix for the same price which was over $20 how disgusting. all the other workers were great and no trouble but the one with the overseas accent needs to to be taken out of position. its reflecting really badly on the shop and is unfair for the rest of them.

This shop is so awesome. Good choice for everyone. Prices are very reasonable and more affordable than other op shops in wanganui. Staff are awesome and helpful. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

Got to love the salvation army great shop friendly people with a lot to offer. Lots of good, men's & women's, children's clothes and shoe's. House hold bits and bob's, Gardner tools, electrical goods, books. And all the money goes to a good cause.

Without question this is my go-to for op shops. Always a great range of very well priced secondhand goods. The staff are always bright and friendly.
