Hospice Boutique Wanganui

Very over-priced. I don't understand why, if you are getting things for free (donated), you then need to mark them up to such high prices that they don't sell. Surely the charity could do with the money now? So put a reasonable price on the items and then the stock turns over and Hospice gets the $. I saw a single pair of earrings that were from a multi-pack sold at K-Mart (pack of 6 for $8) for $5. That's just an example. I'm assuming that the items are being priced by people who do not really know what they are doing.

A very well laid out shop with plenty of room to move around the aisles. Prices are fairly reasonable. Staff are friendly and serve you with a smile ☺. I often shop at Hospice shops knowing the money 💵 goes to the local Hospice. A place that's very close to my heart ♥.

Some nice vintage clothing. I brought a friend visiting the area in. She considered buying two dresses, bought one after being refused a discount for both. Staff said they were open till 4.30 when she said she would think it over. Came back at 4.13 and staff were closing up but doors still open. My friend was told they had cashed up so couldnt sell to her. She offered cash but was rudely ignored. After the amazing serviceat all the other opshops in Whanganui this was shocking. Get over yourselves Hospice boutique, you are working for a charity. Thats a few customers you wont see again.
