7 months agoVery nice store. Bought a blanket there without a price tag. At the checkout I was asked how much I'd feel comfortable paying. I said 20$ and the guy just went "No, it got stains on it, 10$". Very lovely store and staff :)

9 months agoCustomer service progressively becoming worse. Not so much at the actual shop but at the drop off point for recycling items. Was met today by a disgruntled older woman staff member wearing an orange hat. We had decent clothing items and the smallest amount of cat hair on them. The lady became mad when I attempted to say this and began arguing saying “we don’t take clothing with dog fur!” She then told me brashly to take my electronic items to the newly installed “electrical area” I stated that “that’s not really my job” to which she became even more infuriated! Went to the electrical counter to be told they now charge $2 to DONATE the items (working cordless phones & PC cables etc) ! Horrible place, and after years of donating and buying there I’d never return now!

a year agoSuch an amazing service. I accidently broke my laptop charger and it was going to cost over $100 for a new one. I went in today, and a lovely man who worked in the e-waste centre found me a compatible one, tested it out for me, and within a couple of minutes I had a charger that works perfect and was so cheap. We've bought heaps of other things from the centre too, such great bargains and they are so friendly in there :)
