I had a house call in matakana from this charity and I wish I didn’t. It was very horrible experience for me and my family. The lady Francis or Fran was so rude, unhelpful, really negative and made me feel worse than I should. I would never give to this charity there is so many better ones to give too that can actually help. At such a vulnerable time I do not wish my worst enemy’s upon this lady.

I would say that this is one of typical irresponsible backward lazy Kiwi organizations that do not know even the ABC of customer service. I emailed them to ask them for the end of the financial donation receipt so that I don't have to attach every single receipt that I have received to the online form to claim the rebate. Then I got a reply telling me to call them, which is quite a lazy customer service typical of New Zealand. Then when I called them, I was able to speak someone, but she did not know how to change the receipt setting from individual to annual receipt, so she put me through to a donation team, however, nobody picked up the phone, so I could not talk to anyone in the donation team. So, I emailed them again explaining all of these and asking them to call me back, however, they have failed to ring me. Then I got email again from this stupid ineffective Kiwi organization telling me that my email had been forwarded to their donation team, but again there has been no response or reply or anything, which is quite common in this pretty much backward country. So, I have decided not to send them any more donation because I have been really pissed off by their slack irresponsible attitude.

The Domain Lodge is in a perfect location, with Auckland City Hospital, the Domain, Museum and Winter Gardens in close proximity and a major bus stop a short walk away. There are many cafes in the vicinity. The foyer is welcoming and its well-maintained gardens evident from the entrance and windows. I cannot fault the staff I encountered on my recent visit especially Stanley. The Society is totally deserving of five stars and our donations.

I didn't appreciate that when my mother and I tried to help my cousin get into the facility, we were told to leave the lobby and stand outside. I can understand we are in alert because of covid 19 but he had just finished his quarantine and had come from Samoa regarding a medical diagnosis. I thought the receptionist was quite rude.

Wonderful place to stay and also very very clean.The House maids made our time with in there facility absolutely wonderful would reccommend Daffodil House a place to stay and for healing purposes from the Hospital. I would go there all the time.
