Situated on Bond Street in West Invercargill, the Habitat For Humanity Invercargill Garage is a treasure chest for bargain enthusiasts seeking secondhand goods. Shoppers enjoy exploring a variety of items, from craft supplies—like carded wool at unbeatable prices—to household appliances. While some find the pricing on refurbished appliances a bit steep, the consistently warm and friendly service from long-standing staff makes every visit pleasant. This store is cherished not only for its great finds but also for the inviting and helpful environment it provides to the Invercargill community.

a year agothe counter lady is really nice. but the oldest man in the drop off area is fussy. refuse so many things by just open up the trunk without checking. or he unload - refused - did not help us to reload the stuff back in to the trunk. but the younger men, check the stuff carefully and not too fussy. it’s better to drop the donation to the op shop the one that in the city centre than here. prolly, they have too much already.

a year agoInteresting place but it looks to me that given some of the prices they have so called appraisers coming in who probably buy the good items cheap. I have noticed over a period of six years the very good items they used to have on a regular basis are not there. Just an observation

3 years agoI do enjoy browsing and checking out all the goodies, sadly the appliances such as washing machines, dryers etc are to overpriced for second hand? refurbished? yes but I think way too expensive.. the lady at the desk is lovely, she has been working there for a very long time and is always very nice to speak to, which these days is very important.
