8 years agoI had just moved back into the local area and required weekly food parcels due to my current budget. I had been advised that the Salvation Army Tawa offered food parcels from Tuesday to Friday between 9am to 2pm. I found this service very pleasant. Upon arriving I was seated in a quiet, warm prayer room to complete forms. While another lady made up a food parcel for me. I wasn't made to feel judged at all. However the food parcel did not contain the essentials i.e milk, butter, toilet paper.
