a month agoThe usual plea to open your wallet in the name of religion felt longer, and far more passionate than the actual sermon itself. It’s as if the real message wasn’t about faith or community, but about boosting the collection plate. By the time they finally wrapped up the “donation encouragement,” I almost forgot there was supposed to be a spiritual lesson at all.

5 months agoWent here and kept my mind and spirit open... (Rookie mistake) I was instantly bombarded with attention and sales pitching in attempts to lure me into buying into their way of thinking. Lucky I work in sales and picked up on the tactics they were using. Everything felt off and very cult like... It couldn't feel further from God... It felt like a franchise/ business targeted at financial gain and even spent a large portion of time asking for money and if you didn't donate to the church you couldn't be saved... After experiencing what I would call the "Antichrist" I spent some time doing some background research into this "church" and found nothing but disturbing allegations, reports, articles and forums of people and the trauma they have experienced through this "church" DO NOT go here. Keep yourself and your children safe and look elsewhere for a spiritual home. This place is nothing but a cult like franchise that targets young lost people who are easily manipulated. This place is all the work of the devil done in the name of God. Save yourself.

4 years agoI went in with a open mind, this church is really designed for younger people, (I guess their easier to influence). They also preach the Prosperity gospel, I felt uncomfortable with the lack of scripture in the message, and the amount of time talking about the success of the church.

4 years agoPretty large church held in the Aurora center at Burnside High school. Worship is like being in a concert, very flashy. Probably appeals more to contemporary less traditional church goers. Larger youth presence.
