2 months agoGallery spaces filled with works by New Zealand artists, many depicting NZ scenes. New exhibition (June 2025) with several beautiful pieces by Fred Graham, artist and educator (who died last month). He is regarded as a pioneer in the contemporary Māori art movement. There are some lounge areas, including one with a selection of videos to watch. The gift shop sells books, gifts, whimsical items, greenstone jewellery and has a large section with children’s books and gifts.

a week agoVery modern and clean. Good variety of different exhibits. Could do with turning the heater down, way too hot in there. Staff were knowledgeable and proactively offer assistance.
