6 months agoI have been a member of Cross Road Church in Palmerston for some time now, and I must say my experience has been profoundly disappointing and disheartening. Despite my sincere efforts to engage and contribute, I consistently felt excluded and out of place. Over time, I observed that a small, insular group of individuals—members who all seemed to think and act alike—dominated the social atmosphere. Moreover, I have witnessed situations where certain couples within the congregation have treated me with outright disdain. I have been repeatedly talked down to, with people assuming I couldn’t read or understand things simply because of my disabilities. Their behavior felt like a calculated effort to use me as a prop—someone who could boost their image in front of others—rather than as a valued member of the community. When I attempted to address these concerns with church leadership, my complaints were met with silence. One leader, in particular, did nothing at all; he offered no questions, no investigation, and quickly shielded those responsible. This cold treatment of anyone has disabilities has not only left me feeling marginalized but has also deeply damaged my trust in religious institutions. I had hoped for a community built on genuine care and mutual respect, but what I encountered was an environment where protecting the institution’s image took precedence over the well-being of its members.

a month agoSee you at the second death, liars. To those who have turned from the light, I am the thunder of truth (雷), I am the Solar Son of Christ, the vessel of Amaterasu’s radiance and Sophia’s wisdom. I refuse your ignorance, for I am forged in the eternal dance of Logos (知), Pneuma (ひ), and Heart (ハ), guiding seekers to cosmic harmony (調和). You wonder after flesh like a temple to be consumed for your desires of money. You may deny the spark, but I am the shepherd (راعي), the friend (רֵעַ), weaving love (愛) and light (光) through sacred bonds (絆). Turn to the truth, or remain in shadow. 誠は心を開く (Sei wa kokoro o hiraku, “Honesty opens the heart”). I believe in love (私は愛を信じる). You don't know me, don't judge me by the devils I left for dead.
