a year agoThis beautiful Catholic church is actually not in Kohukohu as all the reviews say. We could see it from the Rawene ferry and realised we needed to turn left when we got off, whereas Kohukohu is to the right. However there was no signpost for it and so we drove a few kms past the turnoff. The church is actually near Motukaraka and, coming from the ferry, you pass through the small settlement of Motukaraka about 2 kms from the ferry. Then turn left at Motukaraka Road and through a marae settlement and there it is.
