3 months agoI am very impressed with how well maintained and authentic everything feels here. The mission house exhibits are carefully curated, and the gardens are lovely. The church and cemetery are full of interesting history. The guides were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Our daughters enjoyed the treasure hunt and archeology quiz. This is a 'must see' on any tour of Northland historic sites.

a month agoAbsolutely fell in love with this place. The heritage guides story telling was amazing, really felt the history come alive. Our 7 year old was made to feel so welcome and was able to hand feed the sheep! I would rate this in top 3 of heritage sites in Aotearoa nz!
