a year agowarm, welcoming church with great community that is passionate about people. they will not make you feel condemned about any mistakes you have made since they grasp the truth that none of us are perfect and all have fallen short of the glory of God, so absolutely no shame in asking any questions! the people here are so loving and hospitable especially to newcomers with tons of events and fun things to do together (picnics, food, baking competitions, caroling, gifting the underprivileged, training courses, accountability groups, etcetc.). plenty of people from all walks of life and different stages of faith, with pastors, elders and staff (also from the OUSA Engage Christian group) who are more than willing to grow with you and learn from you as you do from them, a clear mark of humility and grace. more importantly, there is also very solid and Word-based teaching on Sundays from which you will learn a lot whether Christian or exploring the faith. if you're new to Dunedin as I was earlier this year, do not hesitate to come visit Grace Bible Church, and possibly make it your home church during your time here! :)

2 years agoI love Grace Bible Church. Everyone is so welcoming and I love that through my previous church, I knew many of the people in this church before I arrived. People care for each other and check up on each others welfare, if you miss going. It feels like Home! Great preaching and music.

3 years agoI really love it here at Grace Bible Church. I have been coming since my 2nd year of Uni, and I have really enjoyed being part of such a friendly and genuine community. The teaching is really bible centred and I have got so much out of the attached student ministry. If you are looking for a church I would highly recommend checking out Grace!
