C3 Church Invercargill

Nice venue, handy city location, good music team and worship, plenty of friendly folk, and friendly outgoing pastor. It's a pastoral duo - husband and wife team. Sunday school and youth ministry are available. It's a nice size church. From my observation, about 70 - 100 folk. Service runs for about one hour fifty minutes on average. It's a typical Pentecostal charismatic evangelical template church. Service format: starts with praise and worship. The pastor`s wife always gets up and has a say. More worship follows, then there is an offering and tithe promotion, like most Pentecostal churches do these days, which can be a bit tedious. Worship resumes and then the preaching session begins. A monthly communion follows the preaching, which can extend the meeting time. Members walk out to the front to get the communion emblems. All are welcome to partake. People are encouraged to stay for coffee and tea after the meeting. There is a good composition of folk. Families with children, plenty of teenagers and young adults and a reasonable group of mature folk. So its a good balance and the meetings have a good atmosphere; or in Pentecostal jargon, there is a sweet anointing. C3, apparently, is short for Christian City Church, which has a more familiar Church sound to it. C3 sounds like a robot in Star wars.
