Stratford Baptist Church

Just read a pamphlet put in our letterbox with a no circulars sign on it. iI was an invite to join in this religious sect. The main bullet points on the pamphlet was telling us that all are sinners that do not obey 'the lord'. The next one down was all who sin will face death. So, in summary these people are dropping unsolicited messages into people's letterboxes telling them that if they don't follow their particular god (from studies - an ancient Middle Eastern war god named in Hebrew - Yahweh) of their chosen religion we are going to die. Is this a threat? I can only hope they don't teach this to their unsuspecting innocent children. It's one thing to drag this ancient type of blind unquestioning belief from pre-dark age mythology into modern times where reason and logic would require their entire belief system to be questioned thoroughly, it's another thing to threaten people of death for not joing them.

Visited Saturday evening to hear guest speakers Mark and Miriam Holloway on conversations with God thank you both it was amazing. Also great testimony from members of the church. The evening started with fish and chips ordering your $5 meal previous great way to start the evening. Lovely relaxed meal meeting the pastors many other visitors and some of the congregation great conversation warm comfortable place we felt welcome. We were very Blessed, invited to stay over night. I highly recommend the Cadence bed and breakfast five big stars more actually the best nights sleep I’ve ever had in any B&B ever. Cleanest and Quite In a great place handy to all the great spots in town. Thank you Stratford Baptist Church we had a great night.
