a week agoIt is hard to attend any Novus Ordo and believe there is a future for it in the Church. The lack of reverence, the modern music, the begging for money, the lack of confessions made etc. The Latin Mass is the future and is the only thing I will ever give my money to. People should be in the state of grace before receiving Holy Communion. St. Paul stressed preparing ourselves for the reception of the Eucharist. Just to soften this a bit, the people here are nothing but nice! I am just frustrated with the lack of catechesis and the hopelessly modern liturgy. If you want the youth back at Mass then start a Traditional Latin Mass and regular confession. People want timeless beauty and the sacraments. Watch the Mass of the Ages on youtube.

6 years agoThe Celtic Cross at the altar of this church is completely different to crucifixes you're used to seeing in catholic churches. There's a "story" about this cross - its history can be found in the foyer of the church. Talk to any of the local parishioners - I'm sure they'd be delighted to share the story and their love of their church and Jesus.

7 years agoLovely Church. It's away from the main road which makes it a very peaceful and quiet place to have a service. Had a wonderful christening service here. Very nice.
