Situated at 152 Brougham Street, Saint Joseph’s Church offers a welcoming atmosphere rich with tradition in Wellington. Visitors returning after many years note the refreshing changes and inviting spirit that define this place of worship. The warmth extends beyond the pews, with kind gestures like sharing coffee reflecting the genuine hospitality found here. The church’s lovely architecture and the warmth of Father Gerald during the Spanish Masses make every visit memorable. Saint Joseph’s is a cherished sanctuary where community and faith come together in a beautiful setting.

6 years agoI attended a funeral here. The church was pleasant and functional. I'm not at all religious, so I do find the whole Catholic tradition and practice obtuse at best. But the guy taking the service did a good job overall. My friend who died used to attend this church, and I'm sure he would have appreciated this church.

7 years agoI slept in the entrance way to escape the rain. I was made a cup of coffee in the morning. Catholics are nice people.
