6 months agoSo glad we visited this parish today. We felt welcome, and there was a friendly atmosphere. The readers were well prepared and delivered the readings with understanding. The musicians chose very appropriate (Catholic) hymns to support the readings. The multicultural congregation was full of beautiful young families and the atmosphere was respectful and reverent. The priest delivered a thoughtful homily. I could picture Jesus sitting amongst us. Thank you, and I pray blessings upon you all

a week agoLovely community, but the Sunday Mass I attended felt very slow-paced and boring. The choir and their choice of songs didn’t help either.

a year agoThe community spirit and the family friendly environment in the church is amazing. No one is bothered if a kid makes himself known. The two priests are also very spirit filled and you always leave mass with a thought provoking message.

a year agoTabernacle pushed to the side in a wooden box like structure, church devoid of any art or the beauty of a Catholic Church almost bordering on a whitewashed Protestant Church, felt like i was in an auditorium. Sang mostly you guessed it, Protestant songs, kept clapping through the mass as if its a performance and the choir did not even know what to sing when... as if they never even turn up for mass, during the MOST important part of the mass...consecration!(a Sunday mass at that, a girl with short blonde hair was even swaying during the offertory, I'm sure it was not the Holy Spirit at work!). And for the liturgy of the word they drove the children away...why would you do that why woul you make children feel like they are not wanted in the mass. Also, a greying parish, then we wonder why the numbers of our Catholic brethren are declining! They literally had an HSE meeting in the church :( the lady who did the reading wore a really immodest dress, it was a all in all irreverent worship service.
