Stranger in Wanganui, needed change, not with this shop, you won't get it. Try the kabab shop a few doors away. Nice lady no hassle, and the food looked very good too. If you want people to spend money with you, BE OBLIGING, you never know they could be a secret shopper. In any event, in these Covid times BE NICE, it might make you feel good.

Been to Bai Jia shop lately and have to say I amazed by super friendly staff and huge huge range of asian foods, you need to ask them about the mochi ice cream and dried plum, trust me they won’t let down, specially in this hot summer. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended for Asian community in Wanganui or someone want to try Asian snacks.

Great selection of asian foods, including refrigerated and frozen goods. There are english labels on the shelving to help identify products. The owner is friendly and always happy to answer questions and help out. Awesome shop and service.
