2 months agoFresh biltong at amazing prices big 5 is closer to home but I’m not fussed with making the drive to this amazing shop!! Best chilli sticks a droewos iv ever tasted.

4 weeks agoThis is a word of advice to anyone who is allergic to or does not want to consume MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) also called Flavour Enhancer 621 I recently purchased boerewors, biltong and beef patties from Boerewors NZ's Tauriko shop. At the point of purchase, I did not adequately read the ingredients, and it was only when I got home and later studied the packets that I discovered that all the products that I had purchased contained MSG. For people who have heart conditions (like myself), MSG is very bad for us. Yes - I did not read the packet, BUT I would like to see more prominent advisory notices to customers that Boerewors NZ uses MSG in their products because there are a LOT of us out here with heart conditions.

a month agoHad bought some droewors a few times but this 1 times especially was a bit off. 🤮 had to throw it out after just buying a fair bit. Also agree with one if the comments. It takes nothing to smile 😃
