a year agoAfter 5 months of traveling around the world, my two friends and I were very happy about our meatloaf (Leberkäse). It tasted just like it did in our home country of Germany. We can recommend it to absolutely everyone. The owner, Uli, is also super friendly and personable. If it fits into our itinerary, we'll definitely come back a second or third time.

a year agoI’m super excited and happy - feels like Christmas for me going into Heck and see all these different tasty sausages, meat for on the bread etc. I’m originally from Germany and it just tastes like home. The meat got a wonderful taste, all the ingredients are just perfect. Just had Leberwurst and Mortadella on my bread and I could continue eating and eating because it’s so delicious! I won’t buy my meat anywhere else anymore, love to support quality local business. Had a chat with the owner who is also super nice and friendly. All in all a wonderful experience and lighten up my day. Thank you for your work and creating such tasty meat - love it! Lisa

a year agoA highly experienced and passionate butcher, who gave me advice and a great cut of fresh meat to use for a beef carpaccio, and cut it according to my needs to boot! Retail butchers are rare treasures these days and hecks is a gem in stoke. Thank you for the amazing service, knowledge, as well as the taste of your wonderful homemade black forest raw cured ham, which I will definitely come back for next summer!
