    The worst Woolworths I’ve ever been to – completely unacceptable culture and service. A few weeks ago, I went through the staff-assisted checkout at this store. The young male staff member was warm and chatty with the customer before me, but when it was my turn, he didn’t say a single word. I’m usually very friendly and polite because I believe in treating others the way I’d like to be treated. I was searching for cash and apologised for the delay, but he said nothing—just gave me a look. Despite the cold treatment, I still thanked him after paying. He handed me my receipt without a word and walked away. It felt deeply disrespectful and discriminatory. I calmly said, “You could be a bit more polite,” because I felt I needed to speak up—what I experienced felt like racism. While I waited outside for my friend, another staff member who had witnessed the whole interaction asked me, ‘are you ok?’ When I looked no ok. Today, I went back just to get eggs. I’ve been avoiding this store. I found an electric toothbrush on sale for $25 and decided to get it. But when I scanned it, the price came up as over $60. A staff member went to do a price check, returned, and changed the price to $25 without saying a word. According to Woolworths’ own pricing policy, I should’ve received the item for free due to the incorrect shelf label. When I asked for an explanation, the young staff member just said, “They told me to do so,” and couldn’t offer more detail. I had to wait for the manager, Vil (I believe that’s her name), to come over. She only explained the situation after I brought up the store’s policy myself. Her response? The item was “placed wrongly,” the label didn’t match, and “staff are human and make mistakes”—all said in a defensive tone with no apology and zero accountability. Did not acknowledge potential customers has been charged way more than what they were shown based on labeled price. The overall experience made me feel like customers are being taken advantage of, and that there’s a lack of basic respect and proper training. The culture of this store seems dismissive, unprofessional, and at times discriminatory. I’m sharing this because I believe no one should have to tolerate this kind of treatment. If you ever feel disrespected or mistreated—especially when it feels racially motivated—please speak up cuz you ain’t the only one being treated unfairly and disrespectfully. Next door Aldi staff handle everything splendidly

    I Never expected this kind of treatment from here. Literally have to wait for 1 hr. Just to pick order from here. Never coming to this store again for anything. Not for shopping or picking up order. It looks like they make us feel like idiots. Who makes someone wait for 60 mins. The staff don't even care about this. Good job guys continue👏🏼

    Staff member in bakery 7:45 this morning was so friendly and helpful, saw me browsing the bread that had been put out already and without me having to ask she stopped what she was doing to ask me what I was after and brought it out for me. Great customer service

    I still can't understand the woolworths layout and varied layouts every store. Stock also differs. I think they should do exact same aisle layout for every store, gets much easier that way for the shoppers. However store was well stocked and staff were busy filling stock.

    Good produce and friendly staff doing their best Only one counter open at 3.39 on a Friday Staff on were super helpful and got us through self serve with full trolleys
