3 years agoWe moved from Whangarei North Island to Invercargill. First shop we went to is Pomona St Discounter and have never looked back. Owner is the greatest, and family is the sweetest. I would not go any were else but this shop keep up the great work you are the best.

2 years agoJust got charged $9.50 for a bottle of berry flavored water and a $2 ice cream... He was going to charge me $10 for 2 bottles and the ice cream and I put one back. And he charged me $9.50. Thats how Pomona street shop is now. Thats just crazy! The prices for the whole shop are crazy.

6 years agoPomona Street was the place to go for ice cream so mountainous you were like a circus performer balancing it all as well as gorgeous freshly made food pies lollies and other small grocery items now days the store in somewhat a sad decline with ownershop now changed so what was the aroma of yummy edibles is now the smell of stale dusty air.
