Woolworths Grey Lynn, located in the heart of the Grey Lynn shopping area, offers a modern and convenient grocery experience tailored to the needs of the local community. With extended opening hours from early morning to late evening, the store is easily accessible for both quick top-ups and full weekly shops. Its clean and spacious interior features wide aisles, neatly organised shelves, and clear signage that helps shoppers move through the store efficiently. Sections for fresh produce, meats, frozen foods, bakery items, and pantry staples are well laid out and usually well-stocked. The supermarket is known for its quality fruit and vegetables, as well as its selection of organic, gluten-free, and specialty items that reflect the preferences of the area’s diverse and health-conscious residents. Many locals also appreciate the store’s wine and beer offerings, which are broad and thoughtfully curated. Customer service is frequently highlighted as a strong point, with friendly staff who are attentive and willing to assist when needed. Scan & Go technology is available for those who prefer a faster, more independent checkout process. While some customers mention that prices on fresh produce can be a little higher compared to other locations, the trade-off is often seen as worth it due to the store’s cleanliness, product quality, and reliable service. There may be the occasional instance of certain popular items selling out during peak times, but restocking is usually managed well. Overall, Woolworths Grey Lynn delivers a solid and enjoyable supermarket experience, combining convenience, variety, and friendly service in one of Auckland’s most vibrant suburbs.

I had the privilege of working as a Nightfill Assistant at Woolworths Grey Lynn, Auckland, from December 2024 to May 2025. I’m especially thankful to Mr. Asif for recruiting me back in November 2024, which gave me the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic team. During my role, I was responsible for restocking shelves, organizing the aisles efficiently, and ensuring that the store was ready for customers each morning. I would also like to sincerely appreciate Mr. Ronald and Mr. Ross for their exceptional leadership and guidance throughout my time there. A big thank you to all my team members who supported and worked alongside me your help meant a lot. This experience not only improved my professional and interpersonal skills but also gave me memories I will never forget.

Reading the description online you'd wonder what beef they were talking about.?? We needed the lights on just to spot the tiny specks of meat. It felt like 10% meat, 70% pasta, and 20% sauce. If you're gonna buy this"2kg of pasta," do yourself a favour and get garlic bread to make it bearable, or eat this only when you're carb-loading. Otherwise, you're better off making your own. At least then, you're guaranteed some actual meat

Disappointed and dismayed to see Roundup for sale a couple of days ago in Woolworths, on Richmond Road. A dangerous poison, banned in many countries due to its proven links to lymphoma cancer. The product was on the shelf, near grocery items and food. It appears, in this case, that supermarket profits trump any community health or safety concerns.
