5 months agoThe best bread rolls ever with your choice of beef chicken or pork. The bread is so crispy and fresh with the coleslaw under the topping it’s perfect combo, then you can choose to put gravy on top… I’ve found heaven… the staff are awesome thank you

2 weeks agoThe cashier did not even ask me if I had a club card and charged me the higher, non-discounted price. On top of that, she did not give me a receipt. Her attitude and tone were extremely rude and aggressive.

a month agoI regularly shop here. Last evening the store security person was both intimidating and inappropriate. Needs to stand by entrance or exit, Not staring at customers checking out. So etiquette training would be helpful to him.

2 months ago⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed With My Experience – 16/06/25 I’m writing this review after a very upsetting experience at New World Newmarket on 16 June 2025 — which I can confidently say will be my last visit. I went in simply to buy water kefir and alkaline water, items not available at my usual supermarket (Woolworths). While browsing, I was approached by a tall, dark-skinned Pacific Islander security guard, who asked if I was “that lady” who had previously been trespassed from the store — an accusation that is entirely false and came completely out of nowhere. I am of Persian and European descent and have a fair complexion. I couldn’t help but question whether I had been profiled or wrongly targeted based on how I look. While I can’t assume intent, being treated like a suspect when I had done nothing wrong was incredibly humiliating and inappropriate. The entire interaction was public, accusatory, and left me feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and honestly shaken. It was not only unprofessional but unacceptable — especially from a well-known supermarket chain. I urge New World Newmarket to take this matter seriously and review how their security personnel interact with customers. Everyone deserves to feel safe, welcome, and respected while doing their grocery shopping — not wrongly accused and shamed. Unless I hear that changes have been made, I will not be returning.
