Blackberry eatery (breakfast lunch dinner)

We had creamy mushroom on toast and eggs, bacon and rosti. The meals were generous in size, but I did not appreciate a sweet cinnamon sourdough bread with my savoury dish. Big place, lots of dogs, no atmosphere.

Great atmosphere at Blackberry, and is the perfect spot to eat, relax and catch up with friends. I come mainly for the fresh blueberry muffins as they are my absolute favorite in all of Papamoa, well baked, and heaps of blueberries! I used to come every couple of days for the fabulous iced chocolates, but they have sadly lacked as of late and are not as good as they used to be. The iced chocolates used to have cream, chocolate dusting, chocolate sauce and marshmallows....the works....but now just the cream on top, they look and taste a little bit sad for this iced chocolate connesuire. Breakfast is really well priced and most items on the menu are good. My go-to is always the eggs, bacon, rosti, cheap, filling and yum....today my toast was rather overdone and was quite hard to cut through, but it filled the spot... Overall Blackberry is a nice place, I will continue to go there, but I would love the iced chocolates to go back to how they used to be, and then I will rate higher.

First time I have been to Blackberry. My Dad loves it. I had the calamari, which if I was being super fussy, was a bit blonde and probably could have done with a bit more time cooking. Still tasted divine, though. All lunches came out together, bonus, and all of them were great. Lovely presentation and great service. Coffee was great, too. I would definitely be back

Told it was a good place to eat yes so true. Scones,muffins and coffee great. Have booked Wednesday for wife's birthday.
