a month agoPeople, we had a beef cheek filo & a bacon & egg slice & a delicious pesto pasta salad, on a Saturday lunch stop in this quiet, dog friendly cafe that has plenty of seating, indoor & outdoor. The cabinet food flavours were ok with the bacon/egg slice portion size fairly small especially for $9.90 The coffee flavor was nice however the 12 onz large (what a joke!) cup was a regular size at best. To add insult the top of the coffee was close to 2cm ( tide well out) below the cup top with plenty of froth! My large coffee in a glass (same $6.50 price) was better, being larger in volume than the cup! 5 months agoGood food! New menu but first time here, seems slept on but well worth. Had bao buns (realllly good) and pork ribs, didn't talk much when the food came out.. recommend!

8 months agoThe new dinner menu at Fika Bar is simpler, featuring a selection of small plates, pizzas, burgers, and salads. Still, the food remains both affordable and high-quality. We tried several entrees, including the garlic and cheese bread, which melted in our mouths, the grilled vegetables, calamari, beef skewers, shrimp cocktail, and the standout dish—the chicken liver pāté. For the main, we opted for the mushroom pizza. I found it overly cheesy, which unfortunately masked the flavours of caramelized onion and chilli honey. A bit more balance would have elevated the dish.

2 years agoA beautiful cafe with all the green plants. Cozy atmosphere with lovely staff. Food was even more beautiful. The portion was a bit small but tasty. The staff was nice and working hard, but I assume they also have short staff. We have waited for a long time to have dinner. It's still worth to try and hope they have enough staffs.

2 weeks agoUnfortunately the kitchen was incredibly slow. Only 1 lunch came out after 45 minutes. The other didnt appear and we could not wait any longer due to work commitments. There was no mention of a a wait when we ordered otherwise we would have gone elsewhere. Also saw some food hygiene which need to be corrected. Unfortunately a bad experience when I had heard good things.
