we went there on a sunday morning and there is no waiting time on it, although we missed the best view on seeing the skytower at the window seat. service is pretty much flawless with all those friendly smiles and warm chats. foods and coffees (i had a chocolate) are delicious, and pity that we would like to try the breads and others, but there is too little room "on" us. highly recommended to all those in auckalnd city and those who will go there.

A hidden K-Road gem! Tucked inside the beautiful St Kevin’s Arcade on K’ Road, it has stunning views over Myers Park and the Sky Tower framed by retro leadlight windows. It’s the perfect backdrop for a relaxed weekend breakfast! The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and filled with natural light. It’s thoughtfully laid out, making it accessible and easy to move around. The decor has a fun vintage vibe with loads of plants, giving it a fresh and relaxed energy. The food is outstanding. Everything on the menu is creative, seasonal, and comforting from the brie flatbread with labneh to the legendary cheese toastie with a chilli fried egg on top. My partner and I ordered the ‘chilli butter fried eggs on sourdough’ and the ‘fried halloumi bites with hot honey and herby whipped ricotta’. The flavours were bold, fresh, and so well balanced. Both were out of this world, you can tell a lot of care goes into the menu and preparation here. Their cabinet treats are just as good, don’t miss the gooey brownie or Louise slice! Coffee is spot on too (they serve locally roasted Eight Thirty), and the cold-pressed juices and turmeric lattes are perfect if you want something different. Dietary needs are clearly catered for with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Staff are friendly and take real care when handling specific dietary requirements such as vegetarian or gluten-free dedicated prep and cooking areas which is so appreciated. It gets busy, especially on weekends but it’s well worth the wait. Highly recommend grabbing a seat by the window if you can. Bestie isn’t just a cafe, it’s an experience. Easily one of my favourite brunch spots in Auckland, cannot wait to come back!

From our experience, this is a great place for a weekend morning breakfast or snack! We were there before 9 AM on a Saturday morning and had no trouble walking in. Lovely space with plenty of light streaming in and a direct view of the Sky Tower through floor-to-ceiling windows. They have a nice breakfast menu and a case of pastries to choose from. Staff was welcoming, though in our case seemed a bit hung over! I would say check it out, though it is a bit hard to find...you'd never know it's there without Google Maps.

The coffee was really good, and I liked that the service is so attentively. Because of the hall it can be really loud when it´s full but apart from this it's absolutely nice. I didn't eat any food so I can't make a review about this, but it looked really delicious from the others. And, I don't know if it's common here but everyone gets a bottle of water for free, that's really nice and isn't common in my home country. Also the bird was cute.

Good breakfast in a beautiful space with a stunning view. Solid bacon and egg baps. Also shout out to the pancakes / hotcakes, which are a proper American diner-style short stack with good thickness and pour-it-yourself syrup. Lots of tables and seating, good for groups and families and walk-ins... so it can get noisy. If you want a quiet peaceful coffee mood, just make sure you get here earlier than later, like 9 AM.
