Amazing staff, such an incredible experience with the whole family. Was an epic walk across crazy bridges, ziplines and a platform step off of 22m. Thankfully for those with an aversion to stepping off a ledge to drop 22m in a controlled fall you can cross your last bridge and walk back down some spiral stairs!
Special shout out to Tori for going behind the scenes and getting access for our daughter in a wheelchair to be able to go up onto the platform where you start your tree walk for the night lights before all the crowds arrived on it so she could have a quiet space to see the lights in the trees!
Our son also came back at night to do the night lights walk with his Nannie and Poppie and showed them where the glow worms were that we were told about when we did the altitudes adventure walk
A combination of Adventure and seeing the amazing treescape views from above.
Rope bridges and zip lines with an optional high drop at the end.
Our awesome guides Tee and Dani made it great fun and an enjoyable safe experience answering our questions and showing off their guide skills.
It’s not as crazy extreme as it sounds and even those who are cautious with heights may enjoy it. It is 20+metres off the ground. And the whole thing takes roughly 2 hours
Don’t forget to check out the amazing trees - they are huge.
Seems to run rain hail or shine with only a couple of reasons they cancel - high velocity winds and lightning.
Don’t forget to book - we lucked out as there was a cancellation but wouldn’t rely on that.
Amazing experience! Sweating the whole time but it was definitely worth it.
These 2 guides were a fantastic mix of humour and comfort, pushed me beyond my limits and looked pretty cool doing it 😎
Felt super safe the whole time up in the trees being attached the entire time. The obstacles were terrifying but the flying foxes were awesome!
$125 for 1 person for 2 hours and it’s absolutely worth it!
What fantastic adventure, well worth doing, the guides are fantastic and take their time explaining so much about the forest and the walk zip lining. Highly recommend doing it all, even the jump at the end.
The guides on Altitude were great. Lucky enough to have Tori, Tenaya and Scott. It was amazing walking through the tree tops on various types of bridges and flying foxes, then the drop at the end😳 just remember to keep your eyes open so you know when your landing, they do tell you but I don’t think it’s the same. Need to go back just to really experience it as I am not a fan of heights so probably didn’t really appreciate all it has to offer. Well worth doing!
Did the night time walk as well, worth doing but I would have preferred more information about the lights and representation not just my imagination. It was spectacular
