5 months agoEscape the city buzz in a floral paradise! 🌸 Want to see more of NZ's stunning spots? I've got a whole playlist of walking videos on my channel, BinkyT! 'look before you leap' around NZ. Eden Garden in Epsom is a hidden gem! It's a gorgeous escape with themed gardens, a waterfall, and peaceful spots to relax. It's a proper oasis, bursting with colour and fragrance. There is an entry fee of $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $6 for children. It's well worth it for a few hours of tranquility. Happy exploring, and keep those garden adventures coming!

5 months agoThe garden map was quite difficult to follow, and I found the signage to be rather unhelpful. Many paths were closed, so I often found myself walking to the end of a trail only to be redirected back. Instead of plant names and descriptions, I came across names of the deceased – it almost felt more like a "Park of the Departed" than a botanical garden. It would have been nice to learn more about the plants! Overall, it wasn’t the experience I had hoped for, and I can’t say I would recommend it based on my visit.

a month agoWe met up for lunch for my cousins 84th Birthday. Unfortunately it was too wet to see much of the gardens.

a year agoBeautiful, well maintained gardens. Plenty of benches to sit admire all the many varieties of plants, etc from different angles. Also, it is very pleasant watching all the different birds enjoying the peace and quiet in the gardens. This has to be our happy place.
