The Potters House Christian Church Tauranga

I started attending in September 2024, and at first, it felt like a welcoming place that focused on the Bible. However, over time, I found that the approach to spiritual guidance was more about pressure than patience and understanding. While I appreciate some of the teachings and the love of the members, I personally believe that faith should be nurtured with wisdom and grace, not fear or control. I’ve since moved on to seek a church where I feel more spiritually supported. Praying for those who still attend and the leaders to receive good counsel.

‬I was saved in the potters house 10years ago I meet Jeff that day. Jeff prays daily. He seeks wisdom & counsel from God and his Pastor. He is transparent in his dealings with the church through his own leadership. He came to the hospital when I was sick and prayed for me. Jeff & Bettina are very hospitable. They go outreaching in their local community to share the gospel. They bring counsel and wisdom and guidance based on Gods word. Would recommend this church to anyone.

I had the opportunity to visit Potters House Christian Church Tauranga last year April 2024 and attended both their morning and evening Sunday services. I am residing in Singapore and went to Tauranga for 8- day vacation last year (for info only😅) The experience was so amazing and powerful. It’s hard to describe in words and I literally cried and melted like butter during the altar call prayer as it felt like I was lost for a very long time and finally “I’m HOME”. I was inspired too when I heard brief background story of Ptr. Jeff and his wife (including the whole family) on how they started the church and committed their lives into the ministry. The level of obedience is superb which makes the church foundation as rock solid. I’m sure that the church will grow more in time. How I wish to have the same church here in Singapore as in Tauranga..🤣🙏 Praying to visit the church in Tauranga again soon..🙏

The Spirit of this church is what I've read in the bible. Go into all the world and preach to every creature...I love that this family are Filipino and the church is multi racial that sounds like Jesus to me. The Pastor and his wife are welcoming, warm and showed us the love of Christ. The preaching was straight up bible if you want straight up Jesus, truth, then this is a Holy Ghost church. God is definitely in the house.

I met Jesus in the Potters house church! Iv come to know that all Potters house churches have the same spirit!! Holy Ghost filled!! The biblical preaching challenges us to be more Christlike, I recommend the Potters house if you love the truth/Jesus more than yourself.
