Mitre 10 MEGA Botany

I ordered a heater they had sold out but got told they only had a display model or a refund I decided to take the display model because I needed a heater also got told they couldn’t source it a new heater from another store because mitre 10 is franchised owned. Worse decision ever. I got told it was in perfect condition it got delivered and it was damaged, packaging was crap 🤦🏻‍♀️ I then tried to return it to mitre 10 closest to me but couldn’t because I after payed it I had to take it to the store it came from the drive out there is about an hour. Really disappointed next time instead of offering a display model just do a refund. And make sure it’s packed properly so it’s not broken in transit.

I just had the manager Jacob help me SO much with product photography knowledge and all of the products I needed from that! He was so cool and I think the staff are very lucky to have him! Also the store and atmosphere was very peaceful and I recommend anybody to go to THIS Mitre 10 😁 Thank you Jacob! Taught me a lot, wasn't pushy or anything and now I know what to do for my business! 😁😁😁

I’ve been to the Botany branch many times, and while some of the frontline staff are friendly and try their best, it’s clear that the management here is the real problem. There’s a lack of support for employees, high turnover, and an obvious disregard for staff wellbeing. You can see it in the way the team looks stressed and undervalued, and it reflects in the overall service and store atmosphere. Instead of building a positive workplace culture, management seems more focused on micromanaging and shifting blame than actually helping their team succeed. This not only affects staff morale but also the customer experience. A big chain like Mitre 10 should be better than this — especially at this location. Until there’s a serious change in leadership and culture, I won’t be recommending this branch to anyone.

Huge selections. The garden center has a lovely gift shop, cafeteria.

Very well thought out and spacious store. Parking usually isn't a problem even during peak hours. Completitive prices. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have often found that they go out of their way to help me. I have always managed to get whatever I wanted. This is my favourite local hardware stop.
