I recently purchased some Metrosideros Velvet Sky from Greenleaf Nurseries and was thoroughly impressed by the whole experience. The trees arrived via courier in a timely manner, I was genuinely impressed by both the size and quality of the plants, they exceeded my expectations. It’s clear Greenleaf Nurseries takes great care in both the plant selection and packaging. Update: Originally I was disappointed with my order from Greenleaf Nurseries However, after raising these concerns, I received a prompt and professional response from Daniel, who acknowledged the issue and offered a generous solution. He also confirmed steps had been taken to prevent this from happening again. While the initial experience wasn’t ideal, I appreciate the way the situation was resolved and the solution offered. That kind of follow-through does make a difference. Original post I ordered plants from Greenleaf Nurseries on April 27th. By May 14th, I was beginning to wonder if they were growing them from seed. Turns out, the delay was because one item was out of stock — fair enough — but nobody thought to mention that until I followed up. When the order finally arrived, I was excited — briefly — until I opened the package to find a collection of plants that looked like they’d just crawled out of a compost heap. Wilted, diseased, and definitely not thriving. If these plants could talk, they’d be whispering, “Help me.” I raised my concerns nearly a week ago, and since then? Silence. In short: slow delivery, poor communication, and plants that arrived looking like they’d had a rough night out. I know there are worse things happening in the world than the delivery of a few dud plants, but it's still annoying and I wouldn’t recommend.

Outstanding experience with Greenleaf Nurseries. From sending an enquiry to delivery (Christchurch) all within 4 working days. The shrubs arrived in perfect condition. Well priced, very reasonable shipping cost. Simply outstanding and super appreciated. Will definitely be shopping online at Greenleaf again!!

10.01.2025 photo update on one of the plants that has flowered. The second one continues to require TLC but is hanging in there. 18.12.2024 What a difference three months makes. In October I received a call from Dan advising they had found two pink abutilon and although a little sad, would I like them. It's admirable when things haven't ended well and the company is still wanting to make amends to look after their customer, so of course I said yes. The saga continued, not at all their doing, when the courier company lost the plants for 10 days and I was distraught at getting dead specimens but they eventually arrived and although it's taken two months of nurturing, my pink abutilon have finally turned a corner, new leaves bringing new hope, and this one looks as if it may even have a new flower bud. I will post another update when it actually flowers.. 18.09.2024 Sadly my initial experience was nothing but disappointment. I went online in April searching for pale pink Abutilon and found stock on the Greenleaf Nurseries website. Made a phone call to confirm just to be sure. Placed order and paid. Two weeks went by, no plants. Called again. Very busy with orders. Two months went by, called again, plants too small to travel, will deliver in Sept. Called again, so sorry, cold wet winter, will refund your money. Another week, had to email for the refund which thankfully, did arrive that same day. ALL this grief and disappointment could have been saved by a simple admission back in April that there was no stock. All I can say here is 'caveat emptor'.

I have ordered timber and paid in full now the emails have gone quite, I was just ask to pay balance owing so I have then I sent through logo letter head from bank as confirmation now I am asking when roughly is delivery and is there a tracking number I have had no reply. It's wait and see whether Star increase and a more glowing review all depends on Cedarland. The Cedar wood was not dressed which wasn't communicated. 2 star for poor communications
