6 years agoThis is certainly a wee gem! Beautifully decorated cottage with everything we needed. Warm and cozy with quality linen. The host Denise is a delight! Surrounded by beautifully kept gardens....such a treat to stay here. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

7 years agoWe loved the cosy, clean cottage in magnificent large gardens. Enjoyed exploring and finding many interesting features and beautiful trees, shrubs and plants . Also there was a Plant Nursery selling interesting types of plants, many uncommon. Hostess, Denise, charming and kind. We enjoyed the birds and the peace of the gardens from the deck. Three nights was not enough! Hope to come back to stay in late October to see the dozens of rhododendrons in full blaze.

4 years agoWedding venue. We had a fantastic family wedding on site. The gardens are superb with a range of sunny, sheltered areas suitable for varying sizes of groups. The grounds are perfect for photos. The facilites are beautiful and pristinely presented. The owners were a delight to work with....very flexible and helpful without tight time restrictions for setting up and clearing the following day.

4 years agoWhat a great week hosting a training event for a dozen people in The Barn at Ribblesdale Gardens! Denise looked after us really well and it was very convenient for me as trainer to be able to stay onsite in the well-appointed private bedroom suite within The Barn. Denise had plenty of good local tips for us for exploring Oxford in our down time, and the large kitchen and good facilities onsite made for a comfortable experience over the five days. The beautiful grounds and views capped everything off. Definitely recommend.
