Hutt City Council

When a Council dictates what can be published it needs to be exposed. I look forward to their day(s) in court as they defend their position on the censorship of an article on the Treaty written by Sir Apirana Ngata. The Free Speech organisation intends to take Hutt Valley Council and an individual to Court over their decision. Personally I think it borders on dictatorship the Council's decesion. My one star rating is meant to have a minus sign in front of it. Are you ratepayers aware of what your Council are doing and if you are what are you doing about it?

Incompetence written all over them. Parking machines EFTPOS payment frequently malfunctions and motorists are ticketed for a problem that should NEVER be allowed to happen in the first place. Phone number to report issues is not an 0800 number and you're put on hold meaning you'll be out of credit before you even get to speak with someone. If i was your boss Mr Barry you'd be fired with no formal disciplinary process prior. Dont deserve even ZERO stars

I would like to say how impressed I was with the treat of being able to attend the Wellington Symphony Orchestra Free Concert at the Walter Nash Stadium a couple of Friday's ago. My 7 year old grandson also really enjoyed it too. How lucky we are to have such talent right on our doorstep. Thank you to the Council for organising this. We look forward to attending again next year.

Took over a month to register my dog who relocated from Auckland. Had visited the council 8 times, made over a dozen phone calls with nothing but misinformed advise and council staff not wanting to help. Ended up getting the Auckland council to help me deal with the grumpy and unhelpful staff at the hutt city council
