a year ago"worst District Council of the Country" I used to pay $82.## fortnightly now their prices gone over more than double, they keep ripping off community people who are currently struggling with other market crises and rates. And aly my house is vacant since March 2024 and no one has even collected a single bin from there. since then .....What you guys are charging for?? just cutting the pocket of poor people

a year agoCould not wait to increase rates as property values increased. Now that the economy is financially difficult they provide no assistance and will levy an additional charge after a late payment of 7 days. The people there seems uncaring, and unwilling to come up with ideas to make things easier for their rate payers. Only interested in money.

2 years agoI sometimes report issues I see through Snap n Solve, most of which are related to graffiti and vandalism at bus stops I use. Every time the council has promptly responded to my reports and fix the issue within a few weeks (considering that fixing bus stops is probably at the bottom of their to-do list I think that's pretty quick). Overall I think they do a very good job.

2 years agoDisgusting to deal with my road is full of dangerous pot holes , they won't fix even after asking them to. Traffic has to go to wrong side of road to avoid them .They send threatening text to phone saying dog registration is not paid and threatening $300 fine when it's not even overdue ! Disgusting we pay for this .
