The Tauranga City Council located on Devonport Road is a cornerstone for local governance in Tauranga. As a prominent local government office and point of interest, it offers various administrative services crucial to the city’s operations. Though some challenges have been noted, the council remains an essential resource for community engagement and municipal services, supporting the needs of Tauranga residents.

6 months agoAs a recent visitor to Tauranga I have just received a $70 fine for parking less than 10 minutes in one of the numerous empty spaces outside Alimento Cafe. The cash only pay parking machine ensured I could not pay. The extortionate fine is appalling and for a city centre that was completely devoid of people and virtually dead I certainly will never return to Tauranga. You get one star for your efficient fine gathering efforts.

2 weeks agoIt's unusual that outside the council building there are no parking metres to be seen for a good 100 metres. Disabled parks right out front but no where close to pay for parking?

10 months agoThey will moan and give out tickets when there is no space for parking but can’t look after our over grown walk ways and grass areas.

5 months agoThis council is a pathetic excuse for missing fines on this business and the person who is targeting this business should be stopped.and this business should be able to park there clients cars where ever he wants and the council should go around car parks where there are plenty of unlicensed vechils
