2 months agoThe TECT application process was comprehensive and sought the required detail upon which to have the panel reach a conclusion as to the applicant's suitability for a Grant. Providing you had the information and details sought it was a relatively easy process, made easier with the support TECT provide in relation to any questions or concerns that you may have. The DAVE Hume Pool - based in Katikati was fortunately successful with its application with the wider community benefiting significantly over a good many years, Our sincere thanks to TECT.

2 months agoWe’re very grateful to TECT for their amazing support of the Bay of Plenty Rural Support Trust. Their funding has helped us deliver vital wellbeing programmes and strengthen rural communities. TECT’s partnership means a lot to us and the farmers and families we support. Thank you for helping us make a real difference.

4 months agoIt is evident that the TECT Restructure was totally unnecessary, and the sale of the Trustpower Retail Division to Mercury Energy was used as a ploy by the Trustees, as part of their declared agenda to evolve TECT in to an entirely new Charitable Entity by 2023. The changes made by the elected Trustees to achieve their goal have included the Winding-up of the original TECT Consumer Trust, and the covert "transfer" of all assets (worth around $900 million) into an entirely new charitable Trust The Trustees are now paying themselves generous salaries and fees for attending Meetings amounting to around $300,000 Pa It is hard to construe how the Trustees can claim to have acted in the best interest of TECT Consumers, as was their fiduciary duty.
