Bupa Sunset Care Home

Looking for another care home with excellent service I've been at Sunset nearly 1 yr. Staff 99% Management 50% meals usually cold uninteresting leave very un happy resident's. Entertainment good,Could be a fantastic carehome with some sorting out. I've been a secret shopper so am observant. Jo Davidson

Not good ... Loud, and inconsiderate staff members, not caring for elderly or changing their wet diapers, customer service is appalling and shocking, No warm welcome greetings on arrival apart from one lady who is always nice ... They are too quick to feed them dinner and quickly dump them on beds before 9pm usually. Senior Management needs to look at the services provided by the staff members as often seen busy talking to each other in their own language. The clients given high dosages to keep them clam are highly common for the poor residents regardless of the nature of the circumstances. Often things, valuables, clothes and belongings of residents are misplaced or gets Missing and not to be found. Often the rooms smells like soiled urine ? Please provide with Better Care standards

The best place and highly recommended. Been doing a few jobs at the place and the care staff are very friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The residents are well dressed and seem happy at all time. The care staff go out of their ways to try and entertain the residents. Thank you sunset

I have experienced first hand the warm and caring environment for all residents of this lovely home and would recommend to anybody that is looking for a safe enjoyable environment for their loved ones. The clinical manager was both professional and at the same time felt part of the family due to her passion for her role. We were always well informed about anything that regarded our loved one as she truely cares about the privacy and wellbeing of both the residents and staff keeping all parties involved in decisions and day to day life .ism truly grateful to the rest home manager, amazing caregivers the amazing activities that were provided by the activities staff, the great food that is provided and the fabulous facilities that Terry in maintenance upkeeps.

Very happy with the private hospital in their care of my late father and also the retirement village where my mother lives happily. Can't fault the always professional and caring staff - the retirement village manger Donna and her staff deserve special mention for their care of the community my mother thrives in. Bupa have by far exceeded my expectations with the care of both of my parents and on the whole the design of the village.
