2 months agoThis hospital is the worst. I couldn't believe my ears and I am still fuming about how my parents were treated on a recent emergency visit. X was in a great degree of pain yet as an elderly couple they were left waiting for hours to be seen. Other cases came in which seemed to to take precedence. but then the EMR became empty and they were still not seen. Instead they were moved to very cold room and made to wait there for hours too. What disgusting dispicable treatment. They started waiting round 2pm but X only got admitted late at night. The 'professionals' fobbed her off saying noThInG was wrong and sent X home a couple of days later. We NOW know that there WAS something seriously wrong that they failed to diagnose it. Thankfully X is in better hands now where a surgical operation is being scheduled. The staff hardly spoke to them, put them in a freezing cold room where they got very cold and needed blankets and then after 8? hours of nothing ended up with a wrong diagnosis. This hospital should be out of business for their extremely POOR totally inadequate service. 😭

3 weeks agoI have been so blatantly mistreated on so many different occasions at this hospital. I saw another post talking about doctors not wearing gloves and the same thing happened to me in the ER. A training doctor came in while i was in the ER and took blood (without gloves) and didn’t close the line on my arm and blood pumped all over me, all over the bed and all over her. I also waited a year to see “specialist” Tina Gai after being informally diagnosed by four different doctors with endometriosis who confused me with another patient, didn’t read my file and then “diagnosed” me with menstrual cramps. years of fighting to figure out my pain and it was chalked up to menstrual cramps. what a joke.

7 months agoI’ve gad to go here a few times now for different reasons. The first couple of times were for my son when he’d have minor accidents. He was always attended to well and quick. Same as when I suffered from bronchitis. I didn’t have to wait long and the nurses and doctors were attentive and helpful. The most recent time I went was due to a lingering fever and ache from a bad flu. This experience was awful. I waited at reception for 2 hrs before being sent to the outpatient area where I waited some more. Then the electricity cut out so got sent back inside the ER and waited again. The total wait time must have been 5 hrs. My body was aching and I could hardly stay awake from being so ill. I don’t know why the long wait especially when there were doctors at the ER and triage areas and the doc that saw me didn’t seem busy at all. I was the only one at the outpatient area. Not sure what took so long. Still despite that, the doctors and nurses I’ve encountered there have been nice. It’s only the ER reception staff that were consistently unfriendly, cold, and seemed annoyed at patients.
