Always insightful, polite and professional service, but more than that, their long term business model is what made their service so useful and valuable to us, as landlords. Using their extensive historical database, they carefully pre-screened possible tenants so that we had no issues down the line, and worked out a going market rate that was both fair to us and the tenants. We have not had to deal with a single problem; I can't imagine there is a better service.

Amazing service above and beyond from Justin - we had a fire, a break-in and a house left in a state by a departing tenant, and he went above and beyond to get everything sorted in time for us to sell the house. So pleased to have him as we don't live in town. Thanks again!

I am a tenant ☺. I've never had any issues with the service. Pretty simple, follow the terms, get clarification, and pay your rent. They are super easy to communicate with, efficient. The best part is that they treated me with respect. I'm happy ☺

They are extremely unprofessional, represent slumlords and they don’t do anything by the book. Based on two experiences. The first rental was a non-consented cockroach and mould infested converted garage by the river, but it was dirt cheap and the landlord never once came by and left the tenants alone in peace. When moving out, Home Rentals took photos of it with all my personal belongings and furnishings to list it on their website. Then a year and a half later, they used the same photos of my stuff to re list it for double the price! This is false advertising. The second rental through Home Rentals was a complete and total nightmare. We just wanted a quiet, private flat near the beach, which is what they advertised and they even said it’s for adults only. To get it, we had to agree to sell laundry tokens to the other 4 tenants and pay for the laundry room electricity. Alarm bells went off but we thought it could be fine if the adults are responsible and respectful. Anything but. It was like having a part-time job with super needy tenants knocking on the door everyday from 7:30 am to 9 pm for one or two tokens at a time with 10 and 20 cent pieces. I probably got woken up 50 times. It was a dollar a wash so everyone started doing the families laundry. The tenants got aggressive and angry about it thinking we were stealing their money. To make matters even worse, we were expected to give the landlord 50 cents for every wash to cover maintenance costs. We kept track asking several times when to give him money via email and no response. Then two of the tenants complained to him saying it wasn’t fair, we were taking their money and we weren’t doing a good enough job so he decided to come over and yell at us demanding all the money. He forced himself in the house the next 3 days in a row to sit down and talk to me about the stupid laundry room but wouldn’t talk to my husband. Finally, I had enough and refused to do it and then the landlord, who was already super annoying coming over all the time, went completely nutty and started stalking us and targeted me in particular. Another tenants daughter decided to come over to my house and cuss me out and try to start a fight with me so I trespassed her and then got a letter to vacate one minute later. The daugther, landlord and family even started stalking us at our business. The landlord claimed that the rental was communal and everyone could hang out in front or behind each other homes whenever they wanted (like at 1 and 2 am) or even let themselves into your house. We were violently forced out of the home before the end of the tenancy. The landlord did nothing by the book, not even an inspection report and kept everything off the records. Home Rentals continues to represent this Moron to this day. For your personal health and safety, DO NOT go through Home Rentals.

Home Rental Services through the years have always exceeded our expectations. They somehow always have the most amazing properties and offer friendly, competent and efficient service. I can strongly recommend them!
