a year agoThis was our third build and first with Mike Greer. Building post covid with supply chains stretched, meant for a few challenges but Mike Greer navigated things well and worked hard to get us into our new home on time. The team were great to deal with from admin and initial process to Ben and Trevor the local directors who were great and really knew their stuff. Supply chain and other cost increases post covid meant these could not be absorbed in a fixed price build, which was our only real disappointment in the process. The home they built is of a high standard and quality, and will see us well into the future with our family.

a year agoMarlborough Sustainable Housing Trust contracted Mike Greer Homes to build three, 4 bedroom homes in 2023. The project has been a great success with three families who struggled to find suitable accommodation to rent, now in comfortable homes and able to keep their power costs low with the range of options built into the homes including solar, infra red heating and thermal insulation. The team was led by Trevor Lineham who was very supportive, accessible and guided the build to completion.

3 years agoGreat team to work with, Dave and Barry were excellent with good communication around the entire build. Very patient with the design as we did change some areas, good contractors very easy to approach and always willing to answer questions. Overall very happy with the build, we got what we wanted and love the home, thanks to Dave/Barry and all the contractors, and Mike Greer Homes.

3 years agoWe had Mike Greer Homes build in a different part of the country to where we lived. This didn't pose either party any difficulties due to photos and regular updates from the project manager. We found Dave, Barry and team great to deal with and timely with responses and have no hesitation in recommending Mike Greer Homes.

3 years agoHello to the Mike Greer Homes Blenheim "Team". Janie & myself are so proud to be the owners of 29 Rose Manor Drive, Springlands - home designed & built by the MGH team. All aspects of the buy & build from the first consultation with Dave Chambers at the MHG showhome to the start of the build with the weekly updates each Friday from Barry Hannah, through to the final handover day on Friday 13th May all went very smoothly & professionally given the current working environment[s] we all have to work under. The finished product is superb, credits to ALL the contractors involved with the build. Janie & I personally met up with 6 of the contractors during the build time & they were a pleasure to meet & talk to. Big thank you to Barry, not an easy management role ensuring his time plan of completion dates with each contractor involved occurs - Janie & I felt we "forged" a good client relationship with Barry. Big thank you too - to Kaye Hodgsen who on numerous occasions dealt with our questions on various invoices & sorting the variations that we had asked for.
