3 years agoMy grandma lives here and we visit her here. Each time we visit the staff are so friendly and helpful. Moving here was a little stressful for my grandma who has dementia, but the staff have really helped her settle in. They have a huge variety of activities available and the food is amazing.

5 years agoMy mother recently moved in to Jane Mander Retirement Village in Kamo, Whangarei. She is very happy. If she is happy, then I am happy (her daughter). All staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for her. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to all Jane Mander Whangarei staff, you are amazing. Nita.

6 years agoLovely village, well maintained gardens, service people everywhere doing odd jobs. Visited friends for a few days in their nice compact 2 bedroom unit. They love it.

6 years agoI visited with a resident in the Hospital area of Jane Mander village. Visitor parking is scarce. I found the meals were either mouli or sandwiches or dry and tasteless food like pizza and soup. The room was small with an ensuite. There seemed to be a lot of high needs clients in the hospital wing which raised concerns about the level of care and one on one time each client could receive.
