9 years agoI would like to thank the staff very much for the kindness, consideration and respect they showed by mother when she resided at Brooklands Village. The caring atmosphere, community spirit and friendliness displayed by the management, residents and staff made the transition from home to care easier on both my mother and the family during this difficult time. Staff went out of their way to keep the family fully informed which in our view went above and beyond the norm. My mother enjoyed village life and so the whole family have been happier.

10 years agoAppalling - my father died 28/11/14 and my mother just been today(yes today 22/1/15 almost 2 months later) been commiserated on the loss of her sister!!! An example of how aware management are of what is happening with their residents. There has been curtailment of activities for the residents and yet an increase in rent. There is currently a great feeling of unhappiness among the residents. Management are concerned only with profit margins and have lost sight of the fact that if residents are not happy they are highly unlikely to make recommendations for others to come and stay which is evidenced by the number of empty units. With all businesses there has to be a balance between profit and service and if you don't provide the service you eventually won't have the profit! Something owners and management need to be more aware of.

8 years agoI have a couple of elderly friends living here; and they are happy as with the facilities. The townhouses are lovely too; and I hear the meals in the Dining Room are rather scrummy.

a year agoMy husband and I moved to Brooklands Village in June 2012 and, although he died in November 2019, I have never regretted moving here.
