a month agoThese people are atrocious. I won’t call them an organisation as that seems to slip quite far from what their requirements are nor too far either from what I’m sure they like any functioning adult human should be expected to undertake as a bare minimum; albeit a grown adult human being looking after another one. A vulnerable and unwell one. They are saying they are rostered on for certain times and they are to fit into that window. (1 1/2 hours in morning and a 1 hr window evening) instead they come whenever they please. One hour after their rostered time is becoming a norm. For the person they care for they get called from their client upset and feeling absolutely ignored and then the office explains the time they will come later on that day. But do they show at that time or anywhere near that time? No where near it. How many times has this happened. Dozens. It can’t be hard to upkeep a roster and implement changes at the drop of a hat. If someone’s sick RING the client and inform them, then immediately organise a new care worker that will COME DURING THE ARRANGED WINDOW. not half way to midnight. Also on top of this, the care workers LIE. Saying they in fact did come in the morning or another obscure time and no one was home etc. every single time they have lied like this I and the client has caught them out via either security that has caught them or someone was in fact home. So what’s with the laziness, untrustworthy behaviour and deceitfulness? Sort yourselves out. Absolute carnage it must be in your office. Do better. Get on top of it NOW. you are supposed to HELP not put people who are suffering and struggling out even more.

4 years agoThe careers themselves are lovely, efficient and helpful. Unfortunately, the coordinators are letting me down, when I first started with this organisation, careers arrived between 8and 9 am. Today it is 10.45, I am still waiting for help to get dressed, one Friday it was 11.30 am, I usually have breakfast after the carer has been, lately I haven't had breakfast because careers are so late. I am aware that they have a tight schedule and so wait to eat until after carers have been.im hugely disappointed.
yeh nah
3 years agomostly the careers are great, have someone come in before school, often some turn up when shes long gone to school, not careers fault, after school we been trying all yr to sort change to hrs but seems like flogging a brick wall, many people have tried and we ignored, im deaf so i say dont ring, i get calls, had text to say ring, seems whoever runs the place has no idea what they doing, can have times with noone turn up and no notification, main careers we have have been great, had odd one whos not but mostly great, but just nothing good for any other staff the office the ones who organise it, even had email that had someone elses info i was NOT impressed, they need to start organising or hand over the busness to someone who can run it

6 years agoThe way they delt with a friend was disgusting. They were told and did not respond and this is more than once then cut his service time allowed. Do not touch these people.
