a year agoFirst time experience it felt weird as I have never experienced visiting a family member in one of these. And with just elderly it felt like a safe zone for them.

4 years agoThis is an amazing facility that provides exceptional care to its residents. Their attention to the little things is what makes it so wonderful. Everyone that works here, from the Office Manager, Clinicians, carers, cooks and everyone else here, work so hard to make it a home and I'm so grateful to them for making my mum so comfortable.

2 years agoMy mother was well cared for at this rest home. Very friendly competent staff that got to know their clients as people not as numbers. Highly recommended by my whole family.

3 years agoIf you are thinking of a rest home I would stay away from Te Ata in Te Awamutu. They have care givers in the community and left a client with a wound and never had it seen to or contacted me when I am her power of attorney. I have waited 3 hours to talk to the Te Ata nurse and keep getting different excuses. By the time I spoke to her she wouldn’t let me speck and it ended up in a argument. We joined Te Ata as we would get support and this is not happening.

6 years agoTucked away with a missable road sign. This home is quaint but quite run down inside. A struggle to find the office as it is no where to be seen from the entrance. After a revamp it could refresh beautifully.
