a year agoThis fine old building erected in the early 1900s has the atmosphere of a cosy place, more informal because the pews are gone. Fine organ and grand piano. Friendly but small congregation with non-theistic service. Building is not open during the week.

2 years agoRelaxed and friendly people, wonderful new organ and piano music, played by talented young men, and a wonderful moving service on Death and Dying, with great food for thought led by two women.

6 years agoLovely historic old building that can get very chilly on cold days. The people are good and caring with good values. A non-theist rather than Christian Church. Very recommended if you share our values.

7 years agoI've always liked this church. I have been welcomed here on a number of memorable occasions. Especially this: the 1981 visit of the Springbok rugby team to New Zealand when it was a center for protest.

7 years agoI Walk in to a supposed house of God. "Hey do you mind if i play your piano?" Supposed man of God replies in an aggressive tone "Yes i do mind" I can really feel the grace of God in this place.
