I just took a picture of the scenery in the car park and someone came to kick me out, then he said this is a private place, then was asking him this is not a public place, there are government charging posts in, then he said this is for their own use. I just want to ask, I was only here to take pictures also less than 1 minute, there is a need to come over like this to drive me away? I didn't drive either, just walked by.

Is it for real? Tauranga City Council sent us rating valuation done on 1st May 2023, but sent us few days ago without a date. Objections must be lodged by 17 May 2024. Is this valuation known to all Tauranga council employees? They got enough time to sell their own or their loved ones without new buyers knowledge. Why did it take almost a year to post these letter of property value has dropped so significantly. Sad.

Got my Beecard without much fuss. They should however just have a machine for it outside like most cities. It takes 12 hours to load value online which is just unacceptable these days for modern transit systems. Hopefully they'll upgrade that at some point.

Is thus a tradition to raise Rates almost every year or is there any better reason behind it. Why paying to Tauranga Council and BOP Council, two different rates. Getting into property ladder itself is challenging in general, and this rates stabs further. Reduce your expenses, reduce unnecessary staffs.
