3 years agoBig T is the main supplier to most of the Asian Restaurants and takeaways in the South Island big variety of Asian dry goods and frozen foods at good prices. The shelves are always well stocked and the shop very clean, customer service is excellent always a friendly welcome from the staff. There is a good chance if they don’t have what you’re looking for you can’t get it in NZ.

8 months agoAmazing shop coz all varieties of Asian goods that you need, they got it. Whenever I missed any food from the Philippines, this is the place to go. The staffs are also very helpful and cheerful. I just a have a negative feedback on the horseradish, an all time favourite vegetable for Filipinos. Eversince buying frozen horseradish, it was never cleaned taking off stems. It’s been like this since I was buying this product and recently it’s getting worst. Can you please advise your supplier to make an export quality product not this type of product output. They could have just take off the stem, how come they are including this stem? To give more weight? It’s like we are paying ₱5 for the stem which supposed to be junk and still being imported to NZ. Again, this is not a negative feedback for Big T but rather a feedback to your suppliers of horseradish. Thank you

2 years agoAn amazing place. First time I had been there. A large shop for Asian food. /Nearly all the items had a name in English underneath so I could see what the item was. I wandererd around for a good 20 minutes. When going to the checkout the staff were so friendly and explained how some foods I had needed to be cooked. I will definitely be going back.

7 years agoMost of the Asian food here are mainly from Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. The arrangement is good and have a proper flow. You feel being guided and not so much overwhelmed. You don't feel being force to go through to stuff that you are not interested in. I like shopping here. Good job.
