Poorly managed store ..... so much stock is past its use by date and sold as if its well within date, not reduced to clear or anything like that. They bring in a range of Dutch pastries and filled biscuits, it's June, some expired in February. With the bulk bins there's nowhere to show what the use by date of that product is and the scoops just sit on top of the product so people handle to scoops and then dump it on top of the product .... was honestly something I hadn't thought about before until when I was in there yesterday I heard the cashier and manager talking to each other across the store about a customer who had questioned it. They were scoffing about her and making very derogatory remarks. Not a good look openly criticising customers jn front of other customers. Get your customer service and your product date management sorted out.

Bin Inn is a store a frequent on occasion as there are some speciality items I use. Recently I shopped there and spent over $200 and was treated poorly over an item that was left behind. I came to the cashier with a loaded trolley and asked if I could leave the trolley while I went to my car to get my loyalty card. I came back and found the cashier had unloaded the entire trolley- all the items were on the counter ready for her to scan. I thanked her profusely. She scanned what I assumed were all the items, I payed, and I left the store. Upon arriving home I noted that yeast flakes I purchased were not with the items. The store was closed so the following day I called and explained. I was told the yeast flakes were left behind. I could collect them but, needed proof I paid for them. I declined a receipt at the time of purchase but was told the store could look at the receipt from their end and I could collect the flakes. I went back only to find the flakes had been emptied back into the bin and the cashier, in front of the manager, who was useless, accused me of not paying for the flakes . I reminded her I did not unload the trolley, I did not scan the items, and I paid the amount she told me I owed.No apologies from her or the manager. It was obviously her mistake in not scanning the item- she must have placed it on the counter when she took it upon herself to unload my trolley and forget about it. I needed the flakes so reluctantly I scooped some into a bag, paid a different cashier for them, and made sure I got a receipt. As I was leaving the cashier who accused me of not paying for the item originally sang out “ hun, are you sure you don’t want your receipt from the other day?” NO THANK YOU!!! I will NEVER shop here again. Everyone makes mistakes but, how one handles it speaks volumes. I tried to explain to the manager what had happened and he simply walked away. He allowed this cashier to accuse me of not paying for an item in front of other customers. NO apologies were made for the mistake made by the cashier. As a side note, the bins have product scoops that are placed back into the bins so people touch the handles and the used handles then rest on the product inside of the bins. I will find elsewhere to purchase the products I use as this experience, which was not my fault, was very unpleasant.
